“Great day trip. Would of like to spend more than 30 minutes in Old Town San Diego and less time in Balboa Park. Would of also like more time on the USS Midway. A lot of trafic to come back. Took us 3 hours from San Diego to LA.”

LA Day Trip to Casinos, Palm Springs, San Diego, Santa Barbara

2.LA Day Trip to Casinos, Palm Springs, San Diego, Santa Barbara

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 12 reviews · 9 to 11 hours (approx.) Top rated

Plan a private 9 to 11-hour road trip from Beverly Hills with Tallawah Limo & Tours. Choose Santa Barbara, San Diego, Palm Springs, or a casino outing, then set your own pace. A state-certified driver handles the driving, navigation, stops, and return trip for up to six people.

“I learned about Tallawah from a tourist I met who was visiting LA from Australia. He told me that they also have transportation services to nearby cities like San Diego and Palm springs, not just tourist sites around Los Angeles. This is perfect because I hate taking Uber when I don't want to drive long distances. This is the next best thing to having your own personal chauffeur. I can't do it all the time, but when I have enough friends who want to go and split the cost it's the perfect choice. My last time was in April to Palm springs and my friends and I had a blast.…”

Catalina Island Day Trip from LAX area hotels with Undersea Adventure

4.Catalina Island Day Trip from LAX area hotels with Undersea Adventure

★★★★★★★★★★3.0 · 3 reviews · 12 hours (approx.) · from $253

Leave your LAX-area hotel at about 8:15 a.m. for a ferry to Avalon, then take a 45-minute Undersea Expedition in a climate-controlled cabin five feet below the Pacific. You will have free time for lunch and exploring before returning to Long Beach and your hotel.

“The starting out instructions were wonderful for the entire day. But unfortunately the driver they had come pick us up came way too early and we sat around for over an hour waiting for the boat. Once we made it to the island we never received our inbound tickets to go home later that afternoon so I had to go back up to the ticket booth and request a set from them. More time wasted that could have been spent roaming the island which is beautiful.”
